Shopping for the Holidays
Yes, the holidays are approaching quickly. The stores are in full swing for Halloween gear, and once that holiday ends, we’re in November thinking about Thanksgiving and the December holidays.
For those of you who like to get a head start on your holiday shopping and like to save a few extra dollars in the process, here’s a little tip. Avoid the malls. Do most of your shopping at your favorite stores, but do it online via a website that pays you a rebate for every purchase you make. I personally shop through two websites and get paid regularly from both of these. The first is Big Crumbs They have the largest rebate percentages that I’ve seen out there. They pay you monthly via paypal no matter how much you have coming to you. If they don’t have a store I want to purchase from, then I try
Ebates.com.
They have more stores, but their rebates are slightly smaller. Though they do have special promotions where they will increase the rebate for certain stores. They pay you every three months as long as you have a minimum of five dollars coming to you (excluding the $5 sign up bonus)..
I haven’t been to the mall in a couple years. I do a large portion of my shopping online and love it! I also make sure to find coupon codes for free shipping or other deals to help make the purchase beneficial. (Just google “coupon code” and the name of the store you want to shop at and see what you find.) For example, I just made a purchase at Kohl’s and had a 30% off my entire purchase code, a free shipping code, and I’m getting a 3.6% rebate!
I understand this isn’t for everyone. But if you think you might be interested, go ahead and check out Big Crumbs or
Ebates
for yourself. Both websites have fre*e membership, so you really have nothing to lose.

Monthly Mission - Organizing Your Bathrooms
This month we’re going to focus on the bathrooms in our homes. They get a lot of traffic, but they probably don’t get as much attention as they deserve in terms of getting organized. I didn’t think my bathrooms were doing too bad, but after putting together the info about how to organize your bathroom, I see that I definitely have room for improvement.
There are two things you can do to get your bathroom more organized. The first is to go through and declutter every surface, drawer and cabinet. I’m sure we’ve all got some expired things sitting in our bathrooms. The second big thing you can do is to find a home for everything that you intend to keep in your bathroom
